Covid Information

Competitors registered for the race will be required to show one of the following options at the Friday check-in:

  • a) the competitor has completed RT-PCR testing for the presence of SARSCoV-2 virus no more than 7 days ago with a negative result, or
  • (b) the competitor has undergone an RAT test for the presence of SARS CoV-2 antigen with a negative result no more than 72 hours ago

A negative test result for a), b) is evidenced by a report from the sampling center or a certificate (can be in paper form with you or photocopied on your phone or within a Covid app, e.g., Dot)

  • c) the competitor is vaccinated – where they provide evidence that at least 14 days have passed since the last dose of vaccine was administered

Vaccination is proven by a certificate or digital EU Covid certificate (again paper or photo on phone)

  • d) the marathon participant is within the protection period after having suffered an illness

Anyone who provides evidence that they have had a laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 illness, their isolation period has expired as per the applicable Department of Health emergency measure, and no more than 180 days have elapsed since the first positive POC antigen test for SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen or RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Evidence of disease is provided by a text message from the sampling center or a certificate of a positive test.

Antigen testing will be available on-site during Friday’s presentation if the participant wishes to take the test. There will be a fee for this test. Only in the case of a negative result will the competitor be issued with a start number. Taking the test will allow the competitor to participate in the KVM, but the competitor will not receive any confirmation of the test from the organizer. Therefore, foreign KVM participants cannot use this test when they return to their country.

International competitors are required to complete and submit online the arrival form upon arrival in the country.
