After the start, raft and paddleboard competitors run to the water carrying their craft and paddles.

• Parking near the finish will be available at car park P2 and other marked car parks.
• Vehicles are not allowed on the river embankment.
• A buffet will be available at the finish on the river embankment (hot soup, tea, fruit and sweets, all included in the entry fee).

Portage/run section at Na Piskarne campsite:

• The portage/run section is compulsory for all competitors.
• Skipping the portage/run section means disqualification. Judges supervise correct passage through the section.
• Paddlers must get out on the left bank and carry or pull their boat through the marked corridor.
• The corridor is approximately 150 m long.
• The YOUTH MARATHON  starts at Na Piskarne campsite, where there is also a refreshment station.

Check-in:

• Friday check-in will take place from 11:00 to 22:00 at the Brewery Restaurant.

Awards ceremony in the brewery garden:

• approx. 18:00 – screening of the film from the Cesky Krumlov River Marathon with SLAVIA Insurance
• approx. 18:05 – winners ceremony for the Cesky Krumlov River Marathon with SLAVIA Insurance

Transport:

We offer competitors transport directly to the start. On Saturday at 8:00, a bus will depart from Kemp Krumlov. It will take competitors and their boats to the starts in Rozmberk nad Vltavou and Vyssi Brod. Please arrive at the departure point by 7:30, when we start loading boats onto the trailer. Do not forget your own straps for securing the boat.

The INGE Tour bus will also run to Rozmberk and Vyssi Brod after the race, at 16:00 from the bus station in Cesky Krumlov.

A seat on the bus must be reserved here.
We provide transport of bags with dry clothes from the start areas to the finish. The vehicles providing this service will be marked.

Race rules for all competitors:

• All competitors start at their own risk. They must be good swimmers and in suitable health condition.
• Compliance with the mandatory paddling equipment rules is checked on the course. Every competitor must wear a properly fitted helmet and a fastened buoyancy aid throughout the race.
• Video judges are present at every start. In the event of a rule breach, a competitor may also be disqualified later based on video footage.
• Pets and other animals are not allowed on race boats.
• It is forbidden to take part in the race under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
• Judges are present along the race course and take photo documentation. If the rules are not followed, especially the mandatory paddling equipment rules, the competitor may be disqualified, including retrospectively. If one or more crew members breach this rule, the whole crew will be disqualified.
• Competitors must start from the correct starting location according to their year of birth: Vyssi Brod, Rozmberk nad Vltavou or Na Piskarne campsite for youth categories and RAFT OPEN, as stated in the race instructions.
• Competitors must start from the correct starting wave according to their category.

Breach of the rules above will result in disqualification.

Notice:

• The helmet carrying the timing chip should not be carbon.
• An early start will be penalized by 15 minutes(applies to all starting locations and waves).
• The organizer sends out a “safety boat” that monitors the correct running of the race and is ready to help if needed.
• The safety boat passage times set by the organizer are:
  • Vyssi Brod: 11:40
  • Rozmberk nad Vltavou (stone bridge): 12:40
  • Zaton (road bridge): 14:20
  • Piskarna (portage/run section): 14:50
  • Vetrni (sluice): 15:30
  • Rechle (wooden bridge): 16:10
  • Finish: 16:40
• If this boat overtakes you or your crew, you must hand in your start number and your deposit will be returned. From that moment you are no longer participants in the race and the organizer no longer bears responsibility for you. In the results list you will be recorded without a finish time, as DNF.
• If you have to abandon the race for safety reasons (medical, technical, etc.) and this happens in the presence of water rescue members (for example at a weir), report it to a rescuer. Hand in your start number at the KVM finish information stand and your deposit will be returned there.
• If you need treatment and transport by ambulance, your support person (friend, parent, coach, etc.) may hand in your start number at the KVM finish information stand and the deposit will be returned to them.
• On race day, 70 members of the integrated rescue system (firefighters and rescuers, including doctors) will be present on the course. If you need help, contact any of them.

Additional information and recommendations:

• During the race there is an increased flow in the Vltava River, approx. 20 m³/s.
• We recommend a kick-up rudder for racing boats.
• The craft should be secured against sinking.
• Pumps may be used in boats, including electric pumps.
• The start-number sticker should be placed on the left side of the bow of the kayak or canoe.
• The time limit for reaching the finish is 16:30.
• The organizer reserves the right to change the rules.
