- a mass start after passing (actually overrun) first boats of KVM (International Cesky Krumlov River Marathon) at 1 p.m.
FINISH: Cesky Krumlov, below brewery Eggengerg (at the same place as KVM)
COURSE: the Vltava River, 6 weirs (taking across the boat is allowed), 11 km

Presentation and Race Kits:
- - on Friday, October 8th from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. - in the restaurant of the Eggenberg brewery in Cesky Krumlov (next to parking area P2).
- on Saturday, October 9th from 11 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. – only in the campsite „Na Piskarne”
- !!!Friday presentation is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Finish: Cesky Krumlov – by the Lazebnicky bridge (at the same place as KVM)
CLASSES (5):
K1M-U15: Boys born 1996-1999. All types of kayaks (downriver, slalom, touring, flat water)
K1W-U15: Girls born 1996-1999. All types of kayaks (downriver, slalom, touring, flat water).
C1M-U15: Boys born 1996-1999. All types of canoes (downriver, slalom, touring, flat water).
C2-U15 (boys or boy+adult): Kids born 1996-1999. Any type of double canoe or touring canoe is allowed. Kid can be on the boat with another person - parent, guide or trainer who is 18 years old (or older) and who is responsible for this kid. The time will be measured of all boats (two boys U15 or boy U15 plus adult) in this MINI KRUMLOVSKY MARATHON (U15) race and in final results will be stated all crews as well. But on the stages of winners will be awarded purely crews whose members are only kids.
Punt (P5), Raft (R5) – this crew includes 4 kids (born 1996 – 1999) plus one adult (a person 18 years older). Adult is in position of guide and sits at the back of the boat (can paddle or steer) and is responsible for the crew.
Kids who are younger than 11 years are not allowed to compete (that means are born in 2000 and younger)
TIME SCHEDULE:
Friday, October 8th:
12:00- 18:00 training (20m³)
12:00-22:00 presentation and race kid pick up including starting number (in Cesky Krumlov, at brewery restaurant Eggenberg (parking lot P2)
Saturday, October 9th:
11:00-12:30 presentation and race kid pick up including starting numbers – !!at campsite “Na Piskarne” ONLY!!
13:00 a mass start from water (after passing first boats of KVM)
16:30 the end of measured race time
17:30 Awards ceremony of MINI KRUMLOVSKY MARATHON
18:00 video presentation from previous year
18:05 Award ceremony of KVM
OTHER INFORMATIONS:
- another boat can go along with a kid boat (trainer, guide, parents) and is allowed to help in case of any accident (a racing boat can not be on the wash of accompanying boat)
- after finishing the MINI KRUMLOVSKY MARATHON race each paddler can pick up his/her diploma and refreshment at the finish buffet
- kids older 15 years (born in 1995 and older) can not take part in MINI KRUMLOVSKY MARATHON race but as a guides in category C2 and P5 or R5
- lifejackets and helmets are mandatory!
- paddler from kid category can finish the race after receiving a help from the rescuer team at the weirs
- the boat must have device against sinking (floating bags etc.)
- all participants must be good swimmers
- winners of this MINI KRUMLOVSKY MARATHON receive medals, gifts – Award ceremony will take place at party tent at 5:30 p.m. (at the same place as Award ceremony of KVM)
- Safe rescue team is provided at weirs
- MINI KRUMLOVSKY MARATHON is a part of INTERNATIONAL CANOE&KAYAK RIVER MARATHON (KVM)
